The Data to Decision Field Guide is published by Zeal Consulting LLC. It is a read-only guide. You do not sign in, and we do not ask you for personal information.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics 4 (a service of Google LLC) to count visits and see which pages and features are useful, such as which control tower you open or which file you download. We do not run ads, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use the data to identify you.
Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technology and collects technical information such as your approximate location (city level), device and browser type, pages viewed and how you arrived. We ask Google to anonymize IP addresses and we turn off advertising features and ad personalization.
Your choice. You can decline on the notice shown on your first visit, or change your mind here at any time. Analytics is currently on.
You can also use a browser setting or Google's opt-out add-on to block analytics.
What stays on your device
The site also saves a few small preferences in your browser so it works the way you left it, such as whether you turned off scroll tips, which quick checks you answered, and whether the chat helper has already introduced itself. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
The chat helper
The helper answers from content built into the page. Your questions are handled in your browser and are not sent to a server or to an AI service. If analytics is on, we record which topic it answered, not what you typed.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel and its network process standard technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and measure capacity. Fonts, scripts and images come from this site. The only other company involved is Google, for analytics.
Downloads and links
PDF and image downloads are ordinary files on this site. If you follow a link to another website, that site's own privacy practices apply.
Examples and sample data
People, records and figures shown in the guide are illustrative examples and sample data. They do not describe real individuals.
Children
This site is written for working professionals and is not directed to children.
